2019 Gift Guide: Pets and Pet Lovers

I’ll admit it. I LOVE my dog. If you’ve met me I’ve probably cornered you in to looking at a thousand and one photos of his adorable fluffy face, so it should come as no surprise that I have curated a gift guide for fellow animal lovers, pet parents, and even some treats for your furry BFF.

ONE: Us pet parents love nothing more than showcasing our fur babies, so a hand-painted portrait of your furry best friend is the ultimate gift to receive! The process is easy – just purchase the listing for 1, 2 or 3 pets and send along 2-3 photos for us to paint from. These are wildly popular this time of year, so we will have to limit the total number of portraits offered for the holiday season. Get your order in early so you don’t miss out!

Available via www.thescribblist.etsy.com; from $75. Order by December 10th to guarantee Christmas delivery. *Note: These will likely sell out before that date, so order early!

TWO: Our pets are a part of the family, and we love including them in all of our holiday celebrations. My guess is that your pet parent friends and family feel the same way! We highlighted our custom hand painted ornaments in a previous gift guide, but we have some special ones just for our furry friends too! Choose from a variety of colors and customize with each pet’s name!

Available via www.thescribblist.etsy.com; from $8.

THREE: Based in Bend, Oregon, Dog Pack Collars creates fun, strong, and lightweight dog wear. Coordinate a full look with a matching collar, leash, bandana, and waste bag holder! With a goal of creating quality dog wear that won’t break the bank, Dog Pack Collars has a variety of patterns and prints to fit every pup’s personality.

Available at www.dogpackcollars.com, Bundles start at $25.

FOUR: Our pup Brady has a beloved stuffed toy in the shape of a chicken leg that is his absolute favorite. We found it randomly on a shopping trip at a home store, but I had never seen the brand anywhere else before. Already dreading how sad he would be when his favorite toy would need to be retired, I was THRILLED when I found a full line of these toys over on the Organic Bunny website! Snag Brady’s fave, The P.L.A.Y. Fluffy’s Fried Chicken ($8), or choose from a variety of adorable designs. Organic Bunny does a wonderful job of curating eco-friendly and safe toys for your furry pal, and the P.L.A.Y. line is made with AZO-free dyes and eco-friendly fill made from 100% post-consumer certified-safe recycled plastic bottles. Don’t worry, they’ve got tons of goodies for cats too, like the PIE slice pictured!

Available at www.theorganicbunny.com , from $6.

This year, a portion of profits from every pet portrait and custom ornament will be donated to Bunny’s Buddies, a San Diego, CA-based 501 (c )(3) non-profit organization that transports slaughterhouse surviving dogs from Asia over to the USA in hopes to place them into loving new homes. Check out their website at www.bunnysbuddies.org to learn more or apply to adopt!
